How to reach the City of Urbino:
Urbino is located in the middle of the Apennines, 30 km from the Adriatic coast. The town can be reached directly by car or bus.
By airplane
The fastest way to reach Urbino is to fly to Ancona (Raffaello Sanzio Airport); a shuttle service is provided.
If you decide to fly to Bologna, Forlì or Rimini, you should catch the train and travel to Pesaro from where a shuttle service is available (arrival/departure should be communicated).
Otherwise it is possible to rent a car. Rental companies have offices in the airports.
By train
The closest town to Urbino is Pesaro, where there is train station; trains from Milano, Bologna or Rome stop there and a shuttle service is available (arrival/departure should be communicated).
