The Network president, Mr Paolo Petrini, will participate to the Interregional Conference organized at the Committee of Regions in the framework of the CAP reform process. The Conference (For a strong CAP, remodelled and adapted to the challenges of the 21st century) will take place on January 25th 2011 in Brussels at the COR (Rue Belliard 101).
The Conference is organized by the French regions Lower-Normandy, Brittany, Pays de la Loire and Poitou-Charentes.

24-jan-2011: New Technical Secretariat of European GMO-free Regions Network. In line with the Presidency tasks and in coherence with the Network implementation modalities, it has been established in Marche Region the new Technical Secretariat of European GMO-free Regions Network.
23-nov-2010: MARCHE Region is the new President of the Network.
30-jun-2009: Welsh Assembly Government launched a consultation on proposals for managing a coexistence regime in Wales - link.

2-mar-2009: EU Environmental Council voted against the proposals of the European Commission to remove Austrian and Hungarian bans on transgenic corn - The Network expresses its satisfaction for the decision of a large majority of Environmental Ministries to maintain the national bans over transgenic corn.
4-dec-2008: EU Council adopted conclusions on GMOs.
